Perched atop Koh Mak’s highest hill, Thaidaho Vista may be Thailand’s only true “non-smoking” property. Add to this our ongoing commitment to sustainability, and you have a uniquely fun, clean, green, eco-friendly escape for couples, friends, small groups, and single travelers.
Come enjoy Koh Mak, one of Thailand’s last remaining unspoiled islands—and help us keep it that way!
Open seasonally from November through April: Thaidaho Vista offers just four rooms that range in price from 1000 to 2000 Baht per night, depending on room and season. We have peak, high and fringe season nightly rates, as well as long-stay (14 days) rates. Email us for details and quotes. You won’t find us on any of the big booking websites, but we do have three of our rooms listed on Airbnb.
Kat’s Cafe & Coffee Shop is open 10am to 4pm, December 15 to March 15. Kat serves the island’s only real Northern Thai Coffee—purchased directly from Thai farmers by one of Kat’s friends—then roasted in Bangkok before being sent to Koh Mak. On top of everything else, Kat is a certified barista who makes all of her own hot and cold drinks fresh to order.
With both indoor and outside seating, the Vista Café serves a full assortment of coffee drinks, soft drinks, fruit smoothies, yogurt lassi’s, beer & wine; and also has a complete old fashioned ice cream fountain, daily fresh baked brownies & cake. We are no longer serving dinner at Vista—choosing instead to encourage guests to visit the island’s many great Thai eateries.
